Hi, I’m Sarah.

I’m a Chilean-American marriage and family therapist specializing in trauma-informed, culturally sensitive psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and adolescents. I have made it my life’s work to sit with people in their deepest sorrows and greatest joys with mindfulness, non-judgment, and unquenchable curiosity.

In 2016, I traded in my 10+ years of corporate experience to pursue and promote wellbeing in mind, body, and spirit. As a client myself, therapy has enriched my life in every possible way. This has served as inspiration to offer others the same experience. Therapy can offer a set of tools to relieve stress, but it can also offer so much more. At its core, it is an opportunity to examine our subjectivity and its roots, and find our way into a life of meaning, resilience, and empowerment.

My multicultural background and experience living abroad has helped me both feel at ease with people from all walks of life and hold a deep respect for difference. I treat therapy as a meditation on relationship and aim to be present to witness all parts of you as we work toward transforming pain into resilience.

It is an honor to be doing this work and to share with my clients the experience of being a mindful witness to life’s unfolding.
